Notes: Many of these tracks were recorded while Dave's parents were sleeping or watching tv in the next room. The creative process usually began with JT's lyrics and then Dave would create music to accompany his ideas. Most tracks were completed in a single recording session, which could typically last a couple hours from start to finish.
Recording Info: Recorded at Flowerpot Studios, Bakersfield, CA., basically the bedroom of Dave's parents. Equipment used included the following electronic instruments: Roland Juno-106 analogue synthesizer, Yamaha DX-27 fm synthesizer, Boss DR-550 drum machine, Realistic DJ mixer, 2 cassette decks, Digitech RDS-1900 digital delay. Since there wasn't a multitrack recorder, overdubbing would be done during bouncing one cassette to another - commonly known as the ping-pong method.
Musician Credits: All tracks written, performed, arranged, and performed by Synthetic Chocolate (Dave Flowers and John Talamantes).
